New for 2012, the launch of the new Panorama Boat of the Lake Lucerne steamers. An ultra modern excursion craft offering tours on the lake, allows a choice between the elegant old world Bel Age steamers or the sleek catamaran. You can combine a boat ride on the lake with a journey to the high mountain top of the peak of Mt Pilatus with the “Golden Round Trip” excursion by boat, cogwheel railway and aerial cable car. Starting from June 2012 the world’s first CabriO® cable car - a new design double-deck aerial cable car with a convertible top for all seasons - connects the middle station of Kälti with the Stanserhorn station. New panorama boat for one hour cruises – from May 6th 2012
“ Golden Round Trip” to Mt. Pilatus
Enjoy the panoramic view from a selection of seating arrangements
on the upper deck. Depending on the weather conditions, the roof can
be opened or closed to the elements. There is no class distinction on the new boat. Lounge on both the main deck and the upper deck as you choose. The stylish panorama yacht stands in stark contrast to the fleet of nostalgic paddle steamers.

World’s first CabriO® cable car – Opening in June 2012
World’s first CabriO (as in cabriolet) to the top of Mt. Stanserhorn.

175 Years of Steamboats on Lake Lucerne – August 25, 2012
On 24 September 1837 the very first paddle steamer was launched on Lake
Lucerne, marking the beginning of a new era in the Lake Lucerne Region.
